Setting Sail

Setting Sail
One bright morning I went down to the beach with my Waka and I deiced to travel to go to 
New Zealand.  So I started pushing my Waka into the ocean and jumped in it and 
off I went. 
This journey was amazing then look I could see New Zealand, then i was finally there. 
the country was amazing bright sunny and it would be great to live in.

    This is a good start to your letter. I wonder if you could tell us some more about how you felt. The settlers would have been very nervous about moving to a new land but they also would have been excited. There were all new possibilities and discoveries to be made which would have excited them!

    I look forward to reading more of your blog over summer.
