Symmetry

Symmetry
For maths we were learning to do Symmetry a brick wall of Symmetry and a flower that is Symmetry. 
this was fun doing a brick wall and a flower. It was hard to get the same shape on the other side as the same.

Monarch Butterfly

Monarch Butterfly 
I have liked learning about Monarch Butterfly and it was cool to find information about them.

Monarch Butterfly
Have you ever seen a monarch butterfly.
We only see  Monarch butterflies flying in summer because
They normally go back to their  home when it is cold.

The maori word for Monarch butterfly is Kuini Purerehua.
Monarch butterflies that live in mexico began to make their journey
to United States. As soon as they reach United States female butterfly go and get milkweed plant to lay  their eggs.

The butterfly have three main body parts which are called head, thorax and abdomen and also antenna, 6 legs.
There other body parts are called proboscis and legs.

Monarch butterflies eat milkweed and they when they are caterpillars eat swap plant leaves.

I have like learning about Monarch butterfly and finding out all this
information.

We were learning about how to write an information report. I like learning about stick insects it was very interesting learning facts. Here is my work about stick insects...

Stick Insects

Is that an moving stick? Is that stick alive? It must be an stick insect. It is an insect. It is an stick insect. The Maori word for an stick insect is ro.

What is an stick insect? If you think you have found and stick insect it must have to have 3 body parts which is called Head, Thorax and Abdomen, a long thin body with 6 legs as well  and some antennae.
They live on trees and in bushes. Some stick insects are different colors.
Stick insects eats leaves. They keep safe by hiding and being camouflage from birds, wasps and possums. In New Zealand there are  many different kinds of Stick insects.

They are  amazing insects and they are very clever and hiding from others.
