WE have been doing holiday writing this week this is my holiday writing.

2nd may 2016 Holiday writing

Plan

-went to mum’s blood test

-willowbank ( feed the animals )

-went to skate park in rolleston ( had pizza there )

- went to the pools in rolleston ( ice cream there )

In the holidays keegan and mum and I went to mum’s blood test. So she could get her sugar done. We watched mum get it done.. It looked weird because we watch the blood came up the tube. It looked crazy also but mum said that she didn't feel anything.

After that we went to Willowbank. It was so cool because we got to feed all the lovely animals. After we got the animals  some food I got farm food and eel food my mum and my brother got farm food as well but they didn't get eel food, because they were scared to feed them. The first animals we got to see where the eels, which was cool because I fed them with the smelly eel food. They were coming up to the first platform there were 2 platforms. It was a bit scary but it was cool at the same time. I got to touch one of the eels it felt weird and slimy. Suddenly one of the other eels jumped up onto the first platform next to the other one and well I was feeding and feeling it the other one was trying to bite me it was a bit scary then it ended up bitey me it felt like a needle but it was ok. After that a duck came up to me and tried to take the food of me it was strange.

After that we got to go to the colourful birds. They were really cool because they had different colours the big bird  was a bit scary because it came up to the fence where you could feed them. But we didn’t get to feed them because we didn't have the bird food. But it was ok because didn’t want to feed the big ones any way.  That was a really fun thing that we did together.

Suddenly on the same day mum asked us if we want to go to Rolleston Skate Park and have pizza there.  We said yes please. The pizza was yummy but we didn’t stay there for long because there were lots of people on the skate part and the playground. So we left the skate park after our delicious pizza.

After that we went to the Rolleston Pool. It was fun because mum came in the pool with us. We played tag, race’s and we were diving into the pool. I loved it. We had a ice cream there after word yummy and we ended up going home. It was the funnest day I had with mum and my brother.

Over all I liked about my holidays was going to the Rolleston Pool because mum came in the pool with us and we played all different things together.

We have been learning how to do  sunset art. For  sunset art we were learning different colors like green is land but to make the land you do the same as we  did to the sun but as the color green. On the paper then smudge it with your thumb  and yellow,red and orange and smudge them colors together is the sun and than blue is the water and you do the same thing like for the sun and the land.

Our Senior Syndicate went out side and got a piece of cardboard.  Then we had to get a teacher to stick it to our back then we had to go around and get people to write nice scommentson it.

Do not put your first name or your last name as a password because it is not a strong password.When you are making a strong password make sure no one looks over your shoulder and don’t write it on a piece of paper because you could leave your paper where you're  working and the next person  could use that password then they are in your account.

Comic about devices

We have been learning how to keep a device safe when you are on one. Here it is.

Never have a Milo or a drink next to a device because it can... then it will go on the device and that won't be good.

Never hold a device by the screen. Always have the lid shut when you are walking around or the screen will turn out like this!  

Never walk around with the device open, because if someone is walking, coming towards the person, they push your device into you, then you could break it by dropping it. So do not walk around with the lid open.

Never let someone else go on the device that you are using just in case they can push it or do something to it if that punch it, it will turn out like this not good.

Autumn, writing

In reading we have been learning to make our writing fantastic and more interesting. To do this we have been re-crafting our writing. We used a describe map which helps us plan our ideas in more detail. Our topic was Autumn. Each time we used better adjective, and similes. These are highlighted so we can see our writing get better. Attempt:1 Autumn is a season. In autumn leaves start to die because it gets colder each day. When the leaves die its mean it is colder because it starts to rain more but in spring they grow back. In autumn the days get shorter and the nights get longer because the sun rise goes away. Lost of fog come from the sky because it's gets too cold. The grass gets very cold because it's get way too cold. The rivers get colder because the water on the other side is frozen and it is very cold.
